PALM DESERT EVENTS

Join us for an 18-hole round at The Lights at Indio Golf Course, the only full-length, lighted golf course in the Coachella Valley. Known for its fun, friendly layout and breathtaking mountain views, this course truly offers something for everyone, from brand-new golfers to seasoned players looking for a relaxed and enjoyable round.

Update and change of fees!! We will be walking the course with pull carts. Members can bring their own push cart or rent one at the Golf Shop for $10. Your registration now includes greens fee and water. Tee times begin at 2:00 p.m., and we kindly ask all participants to arrive no later than 1:30 p.m. to allow time for check-in, pairing, and optional range warm up for an extra $5.

For those new to the game or getting back into the swing of things, we’ll host an optional beginner warm-up at 1:00 p.m. covering course overview, basic etiquette, and pace of play to help you feel confident and comfortable before teeing off. Beginners and returning players will also have the option to play in a best-ball scramble format, creating a supportive and fun group experience. Members are welcome to bring their own snacks or purchase food and beverages from the golf shop. Water will be provided, and we encourage everyone to fuel up for an enjoyable afternoon on the course.

This event is limited to 12 participants, ensuring a relaxed pace and a great group experience. Whether you’re looking to play your first full 18 holes or simply enjoy a scenic round with fellow ForeGals, this outing is designed to be fun, inclusive, and memorable.

Member's Guest Event! Bring up to 2 Guests at Members Rate!! This season is all about fun, friendship, and fairways ... and it’s perfect for all levels of golfers, from total beginners to seasoned players. Newer to the game? Join us early at 10:15 AM for a 15-minute relaxed warm-up where we’ll go over pace of play, course etiquette, and golf basics before teeing off. It’s the perfect way to get comfortable, ask questions, and start improving your game in a supportive setting.

Each outing, you can come early for breakfast and chatter, or stay after the round for lunch and laughs at the Birdie Bar. (All food and beverages will be at the expense of each member). Whether you’re working toward establishing or improving your golf handicap, fine-tuning your swing, or just out to enjoy the sunshine and social side of golf, there’s a place for you here!

Each tee time is $55, which includes your green fee, warm up golf balls at the bays, and golf cart.

Join us for a ForeGals Desert Chapter Month-End Social at The Golf Bar in La Quinta. A fun, relaxed environment where golf meets networking! Whether you want to get your swing on in our reserved bay or simply connect with fellow women golfers, this is the perfect way to end the month.

You’ll have 2 hours of reserved bays exclusively for our group, giving you plenty of time to practice your game, share tips, and enjoy casual conversation. This event is ideal for golfers of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, and is a great opportunity to network in a fun golf-focused setting.

Bring your friends, make new connections, and enjoy the ForeGals community in a social and supportive atmosphere. Food and beverages are available at each attendee’s expense, and we ask that all participants engage with respectful behavior toward fellow attendees and staff.

This is the first in a monthly series of end-of-month social gatherings, so join us regularly to swing, socialize, and grow your network with ForeGals!

Join us for a memorable golf outing at Shadow Mountain Golf Club, the first golf course developed in Palm Desert in 1958 and now recognized as the area’s second Historic Site. While not long, Shadow Mountain offers a fun challenge with tight fairways and small greens, making it an engaging and rewarding course for all levels of play.

Players may choose between an 18-hole round or a shorter 9-hole option (9 holes limited to 8 participants). Tee times begin at 11:00 AM for 18 holes and 1:00 PM for 9 holes, allowing flexibility based on your schedule and preference. After your round, you’re invited to join us for an optional post-round lunch at the Birdie Bar & Grill, a great way to relax and connect with fellow ForeGals. (Food and beverages will be at each member’s expense.) Cost includes: green fee, golf cart and warm up balls. Arrive early for warm up on the 18 hole putting green or practice your swing in a warm up bay.

Bring a friend to participate at the member rate! Each member can purchase a maximum of two tickets at the member rate. This is a fantastic opportunity to introduce your friends and family to our community while offering them a chance to try out one of our events at the member rate.

Kick off our Temecula Stay-n-Play Weekend with a Friday evening social at South Coast Winery. Enjoy dinner, wine tasting, and connect with fellow ForeGals in a beautiful wine country setting. Arrive early in the day to explore Old Town Temecula if you like! This event is RSVP only, and all food, wine, and beverage expenses are at each member’s responsibility.

With lakes, doglegs, rolling greens, and strategic bunkers, this round is enjoyable for golfers of all levels, from beginners to seasoned players. After golf, continue the fun with an optional wine tasting social at select Temecula wineries, where you can relax, savor local wines, and connect with fellow ForeGals to celebrate a day well played.
