Ready to conquer the bunker? This time, we're hitting the proverbial beach with our wedges!  For this installation of our ForeGals Member Appreciation Event series, we are hosting a free clinic at Westchester Golf Course to learn (or polish up) how to use your wedges to get out of the sand like a pro! During this free, hour-long lesson, our golf pro Zak Cooper will walk us through techniques for solid contact, consistent loft, and smooth follow-through — so you can step into (and out of!) the sand with ease. Whether you bury the ball or just brush the beach, this session is perfect for anyone who wants to swing through the sand with confidence…no more panic when your ball decides to take a beach day!

Our free Member Appreciation Events are offered to ForeGals on the Green Members as a benefit of membership; this event is our way of expressing gratitude to our valued Members while promoting the growth and development of our outstanding golf community.  (If you are not a ForeGals Member and are interested in learning more about membership, please visit this page for more information!)

Space is limited, so we can only accommodate up to 15 Members for this event. Although the event is free, registration is required to attend this event, so please register in advance!

Ladies, get ready for golf…with a view! We’re headed to the stunning Links at Terranea in Rancho Palos Verdes for a 9-hole outing that’s perfect for beginners and seasoned players alike.

Join us for 9-holes of golf at The Links at Terranea in Rancho Palos Verdes! Boasting glorious panoramas of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island, The Links at Terranea has been rated the no. 2 best short course in the U.S. by Golf magazine and it is a fixture on Golf Advisor's list of the Top 25 Short Courses in the U.S….and it is also the designated Home Course for the ForeGals Los Angeles Chapter! This course is a gem for improving your skills while soaking up the beauty of the Pacific; whether you’re here to shave strokes off your scorecard or just enjoy the sea breeze on the greens, you’ll be in great company with your fellow ForeGals. Push carts will be provided. Guests who need clubs can arrange to rent them from the pro shop at their own expense (ForeGals on the Green is not responsible for the rental cost of clubs or any other golf supplies).

Cost includes green fees, a push cart, and a selection of snacks to fortify you along your 9-hole journey.

We’re kicking off the ForeGals Season in the Palm Desert Region with an unforgettable night under the lights! Join us as we launch our Stay-n-Play Weekend with a free Member Appreciation Event designed to celebrate you.

Experience the Coachella Valley’s ultimate after-dark golf adventure at the Toptracer GLOW Driving Range at Indian Wells Golf Resort, where the range lights up with glowing targets, neon golf balls, and technology that tracks your shots and displays your stats on-screen. This event is free for all ForeGals members and includes one hour of Toptracer bay access for up to six players per bay. Enjoy laser putting before and after your session on a first-come, first-served basis. Clubs and glow balls are provided, or you may bring your own irons (8, 9, and wedges only). A food truck will be onsite with food and beverages available for purchase.

Continue the fun of our Stay-n-Play Season Kick-Off Weekend with a beautiful day on the fairways at Shadow Mountain Golf Course, the historic heart of Palm Desert golf and the official home course of ForeGals on the Green.

This 18-hole outing is limited to just 16 members, making it the perfect blend of play, camaraderie, and friendly competition. Designed in 1958 by golf legend Gene Sarazen, Shadow Mountain offers a charming yet challenging layout with small greens and tight fairways, and of course, its iconic “Let’s Flamingo” 18-hole putting course adds a touch of ForeGals flair!

Registration includes greens fee and golf cart. Rental clubs are available to purchase at the golf shop. Tee times begin at 10:20 a.m., with an optional beginner warm-up at 9:30 a.m. for those who’d like a quick overview of the course, golf etiquette, and explanation of pace of play. Beginners are encouraged to play a scramble format. Members can arrive early to enjoy breakfast or a pre-round beverage at Geno’s Bar, open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and are encouraged to stay after the outing for a casual post-golf luncheon at the Birdie Bar Restaurant. Food and beverages are at each member’s expense. Water will be provided, and members are encouraged to bring their own snacks for on-course fuel.

Wrap up an incredible Stay-n-Play Season Kick-Off Weekend with a relaxed and scenic 18 hole round at The Lights at Indio Golf Course, the only full-length, lighted golf course in the Coachella Valley. Known for its fun, friendly layout and breathtaking mountain views, this course offers something for everyone, from brand-new golfers to seasoned players.

Registration includes greens fee, golf cart and water. Rental clubs are available to purchase at the golf shop. Tee times begin at 10:10 a.m., with an optional beginner warm-up at 9:15 a.m. that covers course overview, etiquette, and pace of play. Members are welcome to bring their own snacks or purchase food and beverages from the Golf Shop. This event is limited to 12 participants. Beginners are encouraged to play a scramble format. Water will be provided, and members are encouraged to bring their own snacks for on-course fuel.

This is the perfect way to close out the weekend ... a casual, friendly round with stunning desert scenery and plenty of time for our out-of-area ForeGals to travel home afterward.

ForeGals, get ready for drives and vibes!   Join us at the driving range at Rancho Park Golf Course where we’ll hit some buckets of balls, swap swing tips, and unwind from the day.  This event is ideal for golfers of all skill levels, beginner through advanced.  No scorecards, no pressure, just an easy way to practice your shots under the lights and hang out in great company.

We’ll have the range balls ready for you...all you need to bring are your clubs.  Whether you're working on your driver distance, dialing in your irons, or simply unwinding with fellow ForeGals, this meetup is the perfect way to end the day.  The range is fully lit, so don't let the evening start time deter you!

This event is open to members and non-members alike...so feel free to invite your friends!  Cost includes 1.5 hours of range practice in reserved bays and unlimited range balls.  Snacks, Non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the driving range snack shop.

At long last, we’re heading back to one of our west side fan favorites: Penmar Golf Course! Join us on Sunday, November 25 at 11:30 AM for another fun, relaxed 9-hole round filled with sunshine, laughter, and a few friendly mulligans.

If you’ve joined us at Penmar before, you know the vibes: great greens, great company, and that unbeatable Venice breeze. And if you haven’t...this is your sign to see what all the fuss is about!  After your round, feel free to stay and socialize with fellow ForeGals over no-host lunch and drinks at the clubhouse tavern, The Penmar.

Cost includes green fees and a push cart.  Guests who need clubs can arrange to rent them from the pro shop at their own expense (ForeGals on the Green is not responsible for the rental cost of clubs or any other golf supplies).
