FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. What are some of the benefits of being a member?
Our memberships include numerous perks including access to exclusive member events (golf outings, range meetups, clinics, and social mixers), a loyalty program, access to an interactive member portal, and more. 2. Do I have to know how to golf to join?
Absolutely not, we welcome ladies with all levels of experience! Whether that means you have never picked up a golf club before, or you have played in numerous tournaments – we will make sure you are paired up with other players who are up to your par! And don’t forget that the social aspect of our club is a great way for you to meet other women who can lend their advice and offer tips to help you improve your game. That’s why we are here…to help empower and uplift one another through golf!
3. Am I required to have my own golf clubs?
You do not need to have your own golf clubs as rental sets are available at our partner courses for a nominal fee. If you are new to the sport and are looking to invest in clubs, then we encourage you to check out our Swing & Swap Member Exchange where you can find gently used clubs that are available to trade (subject to availability). You can also look on Amazon.com, OfferUp, and the Facebook Marketplace which are all great resources for shopping for affordable, gently used or refurbished golf clubs.
4. I'm nervous, where do I begin?
One of our top priorities is making sure that every single one of our new members, current members, and guest attendees all feel comfortable - from the moment they arrive to the moment our event starts. We will introduce you to our welcoming community of women and make sure to give you the 411 on what to expect and how the event will flow. We are all here to help and support each other!

Our events are only accessible to active subscribing (paid) members. We do offer select monthly events that are open to non-members so be sure to check our Upcoming Events page to see what we have lined up.

There are NO LIMITS to the number of events that you an attend, however please keep in mind that each outing does involve a fee which must be paid in advance to secure your spot.
7. Where do I go when I arrive at an event?
We will always send out an email within 12-hours of a scheduled member function with instructions for what to expect. If we are golfing (9 or 18 holes), we will usually meet in front of the pro shop so be on the lookout for our ForeGals on the Green sign and/or branded hats.
8. What happens if I registered for an event but am no longer able to attend?

10. What is a GHIN number and how do I go about getting one?
USGA GHIN (Golf Handicap and Information Network, pronounced "jin") is a handicapping computational service provided by the USGA through authorized associations and clubs. A GHIN number is the unique ID provided to you to keep your Handicap Index.
A Handicap Index is a number used to represent your potential scoring ability, which is always expressed as a number taken to one decimal place (e.g. 10.4). This number is used to calculate how many strokes you would potentially need to adjust your score back to par, and allows golfers of all skill levels to compete on an even playing field.
GHIN is the most widely accepted Handicap Index, and is often the ONLY Handicap Index you can use to enter specific golf tournaments or events. A golfer must belong to a certified USGA golf club to obtain a GHIN number. ForeGals on the Green is an official club of the Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) which allows us to provide our members with a USGA GHIN.
This benefit is included in our Annual Plus Membership. Click here to see how our plans compare.
